EI S Public net stands for regional NETwork in branch-line technology and uses public communication paths. The El S Public net is tailored precisely to the traffic needs of branch lines. It devides up regional networks into external nodes. 3 to max. 15 remote station modules can be controlled. EI S Public net uses only proven components of the El S electronic interlocking. It is designed for use with
line networks with low to moderate traffic,
speeds up to 160 km/h,
German Railways operating procedures as per DS 408.
