The new Siemens decentralised point controller Siwes® operates and detects points with multiple machines. Siwes controls the staggered activation and deactivation of the individual point machines with ease. Detection indications are reliably collected from the operating and detection points and from the wheel sensors for trailing detection.
Depending on the number of point machines, clamps, end position detectors, and wheel sensors, interlockings can be optimised using the appropriate type of Siwes point controller. The various versions are adapted to the specific application. They perform their control and detection functions with little equipment outlay.
