LED Signal Light Units from Siemens Transportation Systems meet the demands for higher flexibility and reliability of signalling equipment.
Conventional optical systems are being replaced by LEDs (light-emitting diodes). Both systems have the same interface to the signal circuit of the interlocking and can therefore be replaced easily. LEDs are used in signal light units and in supplementary indicators that display symbols. There are signal light units for the signal colours red, yellow, green and lunar white.
