Current rail freight transport often does not provide for continuity of wagon information. The Arkos Automatic Composition Checking System offers a solution. It enables true wagon tracking by determining the composition based on measured data and correcting it automatically. In that way Arkos reduces the transshipment time in the overall process and improves process quality.
To achieve optimised operational performance, Arkos can be combined with a terminal operations planning system (Vicos CM 500) or with a hump control system (MSR 32 ).
