In order to produce optimum conditions for smooth commissioning, our automation systems in our test centres have to endure a broad range of checks, performed on more than 1,600 m².

The system test centres of Siemens TS are the most modern test centres in the entire railway industry. Here we test the Siemens interlockings and operation control centres which our customers use, in the original configuration. The test equipment consists of hardware also used in the original equipment. We load the original operating software to the test equipment. The behaviour of the outdoor equipment is simulated in real time. The test centres allow for testing the equipment both in regard to function as to different operating situations. By testing the equipment while simultaneously installing the new interlocking equipment, you can considerably reduce the project execution time. During reconstruction, our test centres allow for comprehensive acceptance tests which often cannot be performed in the real interlocking, or only during a very short period of time. Not only the most recent electronic interlockings but also interfaces to older generations, such as mechanical or relay interlockings, can be checked in the test centres.

In our system test centres, we do not only use the data test  and the stress test but also the software system test. The basis for this is our two simulation systems, which allow for performing the broad tests in a feasible period of time. And our diagnosis service for interlocking technology offers further optimum support even after commissioning of your equipment.
