Siemens Transportation Systems practices intensive cooperation with the RWTH Aachen technical university, thus fostering cooperation between academic education and practical work.

Each year, Siemens Transportation Systems also supports students of the RWTH Aachen with a scholarship.

The scholarship is for students majoring in mechanical engineering with above-average grades. Professors at the university recommend students who are suitable for the scholarship and have the necessary qualifications.

The application deadline is always January 31 and the recipients of the scholarship are selected on a selection day held in February.
