I am the Strategic Accounts Manager (Southeast) at Siemens Transportation Systems, STS. My responsibilities include business development for all business units (Rail Automation, Mass Transit, Electrification, Trains and Turnkey) within STS for transportation requirements for the southeast region of the U.S..

I am involved in the development of lasting relationships for STS and in obtaining a better STS position.

The process of positioning and marketing our company in order to pursue an account really fascinates me. There is never a dull moment and it requires lots of creativity and presents rather interesting challenges regarding a team approach for the various business segments.

Each Business Unit has its own method and plan to acquire business so I have to be able to balance their expectations with that of an overall view of STS.  I truly believe I significantly contribute in helping STS be in a better position to win opportunities.

STS is a giant in the Transit Industry.  We have tremendous global presence. STS is aware of these facts and continues to look for ways to stay at the top of the Transit Industry.

Siemens is a well-known and established company with a reputation in the industry of treating its employees correctly and has a 155 year history and is successful in many areas.

I believe our Management Board has a clear vision and wants everyone to succeed. STS is a great company.  STS is on the cutting edge of technology,  the company is conservative yet willing to listen.

I have moved around the Transit Industry for over 18 years and truly believe this is where I would like to retire from STS.
