Rainer Czerwinski, Key Account Manager Beijing/Tianjin/MOR/Olympic Games Beijing 2008

The position of General Manager Region North involves key account management of mass transit customers in Beijing und Tianjin for all TS sections and of the Ministry of Railways for the TS Rail Automation Mainline business.

I also represent TS in the Siemens-wide OGB (Olympic Games Beijing) 2008 team. I enjoy the responsibility in daily business. The technical, innovative and financial power of the company and the knowledge of being able to implement measures and things that really make business sense fascinate me. I see it as a special challenge to develop and implement successful solutions in an intercultural environment with and for our customers.

It is important to strike the right balance between profit optimization for a company and its shareholders and customer benefit.

It is my aim and obligation to do justice to the corporate citizenship of a company like Siemens AG and beat the competition.

I am particularly proud of the way we have established and increased the perception of Siemens TS in Beijing and Tianjin.

I am glad that I contributed toward improving the situation for winning orders with a balanced localization strategy in China while at the same time securing jobs in Germany.

I chose TS as an employer because of its image, size, its achievements, the challenges, and the products. TS is very dynamic and high-powered, but also complex.

That is offset by a friendly and cooperative working atmosphere. All in all, at TS, I am in a very interesting sector with a high level of complexity and integrity. There are many opportunities for personal career development.

I see good long-term potential at TS, because of the growing worldwide demand for TS systems and products with a high level of innovation.
