I am studying industrial engineering, majoring in electrical engineering, at Braunschweig University of Technology, which I am shortly due to complete.
For just under a year now I have been working at TS as an intern in marketing communications on a range of different assignments. I am now in the process of writing my dissertation where I am looking at academic theory and trying to find practical solutions for Siemens TS.
I have taken a careful look at marketing during my degree studies and am now in a position to compare theory with practice. I have learnt, for example, how many theoretical problems turn up in practice and where the real difficulties lie. What particularly appealed to me from the outset was the trust that was put in me.
From the very first day I was treated not like a student but as a colleague. I was very enthusiastic about the good relations among employees. One advantage for me as a student are the relatively flexible working hours that my department allows me.
